CoppiaTable Lamp with Acrylic Glass Lampshades

The COPPIA table lamp is a new sculptural lamp with twin lampshades, designed by Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt for GUBI. It features two discs of acrylic glass housed in a curved metal frame. The industrial design represents both a new material and a new designer for GUBI. The flowing yet geometric style is robust enough to be used as both a table and floor lamp, and can be easily moved from the desk to the bedside table, from the shelf to the windowsill. The lamp has a toggle switch on the cable with which it can be switched on and off. The semi-transparent diffuser disc provides pleasantly soft lighting.
